With more than 20 years of art, design, tech and teaching experience, Sana Tchernov founded Amedeo to pursue the idea of creativity and visual intelligence as an integral part of everyone’s successful adventure.
Her work has been influenced by the cultural diversity she’s been exposed to as a resident of the San Francisco/Bay Area, Europe and Asia, as well as by her broad educational background. She holds degrees in Design and Liberal Arts, as well as an MS in Applied Mathematics, followed by a PhD Program in Informatics and Interaction Design.
As a founder of Amedeo, she views her novel endeavor as more of an art than a science, yet her mathematical background has proven to be a considerable asset given the intersection of modern design technologies and classical art forms. Building on this foundation of scientific rigor, as well as her extensive visual arts work in a variety of media, Sana has developed a signature neoteric approach to her teaching and curating practices.
In her constant pursuit of professional advancement, Sana regularly attends art and design shows and workshops throughout the world. Her art works reside in galleries and international private collections. A published artist and printmaker, and offering her expertise in coaching and consulting, she has had the pleasure of working with numerous organizations, clients and students across the country and abroad.
